Milestone Session: Children's Photographer Columbus, Ohio

Oh My goodness. Did I ever tell you what my favorite type of session was? Well, I love just about every type of session, but these are some of my all time favorites! Milestone sessions. Milestone sessions are one of my favorites, specifically sitter sessions.

What is a milestone session? What is a sitter session? Well, we offer photography packages to our new families that allows them to bring their baby in multiple times a year. Some people opt to do maternity and newborn photo sessions, which would fall under the "Belly to Baby". Some people decide to do a Baby's First Year Package and come in for Newborn, around 6 month, or when baby is sitting up independently, and then again at 1 year for a cake smash session. MY (Erin) Favorite type of session is the 6-8 month time frame. Baby has become very interactive with their surroundings, but can't quite walk. LOL. So they pose, and smile, and laugh, and the fastest they can move is maybe a crawl.

Campbell and her family have been coming to me for a little over a year before she was born. Her brother celebrated his 2 yr birthday, his dad had a FANTASTIC professional portfolio session done with me, and then Campbell was born and came in for newborn session. They were trying to get her in for 6 months, but sickness, and life got in the way, and we weren't able to get her in till about 8 months. But that is OK, because she is so stinking cute, and at least we were able to get her in to capture this cute milestone session.

Campbell's mom wanted creams, and neutral colors, and then we got a little "crazy" with incorporating a new teal chair I recently picked up at a local furniture shop:-)
