Happy Sunday, Happy Mother's Day.
This year is extra special for me as a photographer! As I write this blog, I am currently on call, waiting for the signal to head to OSU for a birth! That's right! It's very possible this baby girl will be born on Mother's Day!! How can you ever top that gift?
Fun fact? My oldest son was born just 12 hours before Mother's Day! He was, and still is, my best Mother's Day Gift!
(My second son was born just days after Father's Day too!)
So, if you live in Ohio, you know very well we had a LATE winter, and a even later tree bloom. That means, I just got around to doing some Mommy & Me sessions this last week, with my good friend Danielle and her AWESOME son Brodie. You may recognize them from this blog.
We had to wait for a non-rainy day, and a non windy day, as my friend Brodie is horribly afraid of wind!
I was hoping for sun, and some amazing sunset pictures, but as Ohio is, it was gloomy. However, it did not stop us from having an absolute blast! We got some beautiful pictures in the last bit of the spring blooms, just as summer starts to roll in. I always get a picture of Brodie running and this time he flat out ran OUT of his shoes! It was soo funny, his mom and I couldn't stop from giggling!
We ventured all over Goodale Park, and down the various alleys of downtown, and Brodie was all smiles the entire time.
We even got to stop at a patch of what I call "wishers" and we taught Brodie how to blow on them and make a wish!
On the subject of Mommy & Me sessions, we had planned on doing a really cute set up for Mother's Day for the Mini Series. However, thanks to snow through April, we will be premiering our ENTIRE Mini series line up for the rest of the year, with dates, themes and locations announced! First up? Well, that is announced TUESDAY, and I can tell you, you Do NOT want to miss this! Erin and I are crafting AGAIN, and it is be stunning!!!
