Jean realized shortly after she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl Allison, that she had not scheduled a newborn session for her new addition. She put an urgent call out on facebook, and her friends were quick to send recommendations. Borah, the owner of Tree of Life, and a past client of mine, tagged me in the post, and I reached out to Jean. Not only had I done a session for Jean about 5 years ago, BUT, she had referred a wedding to us this past summer. We like to reward our referrals and returning client by offering credits. Little did Jean realize, that she had already earned a $100 credit PLUS her 10% off military discount towards her newborn session. Allison's dad is mere WEEKS from headed overseas, and these are VERY special sessions!! We were able to fit Allison into our schedule, and we were SOOOOOOO honored to capture these photos of their new family of 3!!
Newborn sessions are important to capture no matter what is going on in the family's life, but when dad is about to be gone for a full year, I feel it is even more crucial to capture these memories. They of course wanted to incorporate his uniform and military attire into the photos. Being a military spouse myself, these military photos pull at my heart strings!! I hope they pull at yours. Please send prayers and good thoughts to this family as they are facing a year apart from each other!! Hopefully we can ease the pain of being apart just a little as we capture Allison over the next year at her milestone sessions:-)
