Introducing Myself::Columbus,Ohio Newborn Photographer

As you can see from the title, I figured it was about time to introduce myself to everyone! My name is Felecia Williams, and this year, I decided to merge my newborn business with Erin and Irish Eyes Photography. I have been Erin's second shooter at weddings, and her studio mate for several years now, so some of you may recognize me!

I am the mother of three sweet, rotten little boys. My youngest, Conner, was just born in January. I was blessed to have Erin capture his birth with me! I am also married to my husband, Randy, who is my biggest support and my rock.

I am a lover of all animals, especially foxes! I may have a slight obsession with coffee, and may hoard, I mean, collect coffee mugs. The key to my heart? Unique coffee mugs! The weirder, the better.

I began my newborn career in 2012, a few years after my photography business started up. I was intrigued with newborn photography, after my middle sons newborn pictures and began to take as many workshops as possible. By the end of that year, I was so busy, I began to rent a studio in Grandview and that is where I met Erin! Erin and I hit it off pretty fast, and by the end of 2013, our studio was in the works.

In 2015, a local wedding photographer began to refer her wedding clients to me for newborns, and from there, my newborn business exploded! I began to learn new lighting and posing techniques, while taking more workshops (I love to learn!). I am very well versed in newborn safety, so you know your little one is safe with me! By the end of 2015, I knew I wanted to make newborns my top priority, and focus mainly on that.We had struggled with infertility in the past, so in a way, cuddling others babies and watching them grow throughout the year helped my heart heal. Well, God had plans for us, because in 2016, we found out our little rainbow baby, Conner was coming! It was then that Erin and I decided it was time to discuss me coming on as the newborn photographer for Irish Eyes once Conner was born, and here I am!

I LOVE newborns and little kids. It's these sessions that make my heart just sing!

Outside of photography, I enjoy art in many forms. I have an Art Education degree from Ohio University, where I majored in Photography and Ceramics. I throw on the wheel to relax me, any maybe make more mugs! I also love music, and you can often find me jamming to Folk Rock.

Lastly, I am the coordinator and photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, in Columbus, Ohio. I am very passionate about this cause, and love being able to help families heal in their time of need.
