Funny how the last blog post was announcing the fall mini sessions, and this one is going to be the fall mini sessions 2016 post:-)
As you can imagine, it has been another CRAZY BUSY fall season at Irish Eyes Photography. Not only have we been rocking and rolling with sessions, editing, events, etc. but I threw in a family trip to Walt Disney World in the mix for Ava's fifth birthday. Probably not the smartest idea, but it definitely helped me get focused to come back into the busy fall season full speed. I will share pictures from our trip eventually.
So we returned from Disney on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. Low and behold I had my mini sessions for the fall that next morning bright and early. Although I was exhausted from my trip, I had to set up the mini session sets and run errands all Friday evening.
My family just recently purchased 5.5 acres in New Albany, Ohio, and 2.5 acres are wooded. It was the perfect setting for fall minis!! I look forward to using it in years to come. It allowed me to set up and not have to worry about tearing down in between morning and evening sessions and then reset them up like I did last year. It was the perfect scenario except for one thing: the color. Ohio falls are SOOOOO hard to predict. I research the almanacs, the predictions from the weather people, the arborsists, etc and everyone sid the color was supposed to start changing around Oct 13th-15th. WRONG!! Thanks to warm weather, we didn't start getting much color until about the first week in November. Oh well, we still made the best of it, and we captured some great moments for all the families. Here are just a few of my favorites:-) ENJOY!
